Vermont-NEA Conferences & Events

Vermont-NEA holds many events throughout the year. Some events are annual events, while others are focused on specific topics of interest to the field of education. Vermont-NEA has a Professional Learning Committee, which includes both ESPs and Teachers, that help guide these offerings. Education Support Professionals (ESPs)

Vermont ESPs are a part of a family of support professionals. In Vermont, our ESPs include paraeducators, bus drivers, school food programs, clerical, resources officers, and custodians.

Certified Educators

Vermont is a wonderful state in which to live and teach! Vermont-NEA can answer questions regarding licensure, the different routes to become licensed, how to find a job, and how to maintain your license. The Vermont Agency of Education works closely with Vermont-NEA and often, we can answer your questions more quickly. Aspiring Educators

Aspiring Educators are an important part of Vermont-NEA and the National Education Association. Vermont-NEA partners with Vermont LIcensure Programs and are here to support your ongoing professional learning. Aspiring Educators are the future of our Union! Aspiring Educators may become a member of our union without a fee as part of our Aspiring Educator Fee Scholarship. Join now!

Online Professional Learning

Online professional learning has evolved into a valuable approach to increasing educator skills. Whether synchronous our asynchronous, facilitated or independent learning, Vermont-NEA has a plethora of learning opportunities for members, many which are part of membership!

Professional Learning

Vermont-NEA has developed many workshops and trainings to support ongoing professional learning. Additionally, Vermont-NEA's Director of Professional Programs is a Certified Framework Specialist from the Danielson Group. Vermont-NEA is happy to partner with districts to bring workshops to you.
