Vermont-NEA President Martha Allen joined Washington West Education Association member -- and Moretown Elementary School librarian -- Megan Allison March 9 for the school's "Read Across America" celebration. Martha wasn't alone in reading to the school's 144 K-6 students: a business owner, a basketball coach, a state trooper and some student athletes took to the classrooms and spent time reading.
